Civil War Memorials

"America, how should we remember this soldier?" I agreed the most with the author of this article when he said "Elijah Morrison and those like him deserve to be remembered and honored." I believe that the soldiers who fought in war in the 1800's should be honored. Those soldiers fought for our country, left their families behind, and risked their lives for the U.S. I believe that their graves should be marked and that they use these areas of land to commemorate the great work they did for us. "Put progressive Civil War Republicans on a Pedestal" I agreed when the author was talking about some great things people did in the past like Achsah Newton Lakin when she said, "I know of no reason why I should withhold my child."
