Why I used this:I used this article for research before I watched the film. I previously had no idea what the Watergate scandal was even about so I read this article to get a simple overview of the whole investigation.
The University of Texas Article on Deep Throat:
Why I used this: I used this article to learn more information on Deep Throat because I did not even know he came out as Mark Felt many years after the Scandal until Mary Coomer told me. I needed more information on him and who he was and this article provided that information.
The Washington Post Article on How Mark Felt became Deep Throat:
Why I used this: I used this article first because it was personally written by Bob Woodward who personally worked with Mark Felt. I wanted to hear more information on this very important character and see how they knew each other and this article provided exactly that.
Sage Journals Article on The Evolving Watchdog:
Why I used this: I used this article to get more information on what the watchdog did in the past. I had no clue what a watchdog was even until Mrs. Lawson told me in class. I looked up the definition of what a Watchdog was and this article provided it.
Cambridge Dictionary defining Watchdog:
Why I used this: I also used this to get another view on what a watchdog is and this source was very reliable and I wanted to compare the meaning of watchdog between these two definitions I found.

Why I used this: I used this reliable source because it gave me some primary sources on speeches some main characters made and gave me extra information on clarifying what happened during Watergate. I needed this because the movie sometimes made me confused on who was who and this article cleared up some of these and I can use the point of view some of the speakers made to get a deeper meaning of the Watergate scandal. It also cleared up some of the things that happened in the Watergate scandal that were shown in the movie that I did not pick up.

Why I used this: I used this article to see what the job of a watchdog is and how they do it. The first few pages of this really helped me find out until it went into complete detail of why they did investigating wrong. This article did provide me with how the U.S. population heard the upcoming news and how the watchdog is viewed now.

Why I used this: I used this article because it provided information on the fourth estate and what it was about. This gave me the information on who watched what news channel in the 70's and how journalism was so crucial to this time period.
Time Article on Notorious Leakers: Mark Felt:
Why I used this: I used this article to get more information on Mark Felt and to see how people viewed him since the title is so provocative. This information was very useful on seeing why he kept his identity a secret for so long.
Watergate.info Article on Watergate Burglars:
Why I used this: I used this article specifically for my guest list to get more information on who the burglars were and what their background was.
Theaterbyte Article Review on All the President's Men:
Why I used this: I used this to get a review on the film. This also gave me a clear vision of the movie and who some of the characters were that I did not catch while watching the film.

Why I used this: I chose this article because it gave me further information on one of the burglars of Watergate. It also showed me how he was also forced to plead guilty and gave me a different perspective on the burglars.

It was interesting to see where they are now and how much time some of them spent in jail. It was useful and interesting information to have on the Watergate scandal.
